The DKP VK-18 boasts a sleek and streamlined profile, combining tradition with a modern aesthetic. The refined edges and full duckbill back profile provide a lightweight feel without compromising on power.
The DKP VK-18 is beautifully handcrafted for drive and balance. Just think of Virat Kohli driving perfectly through the covers. With our classic white and black decals, stand out from the rest with something that is handmade and crafted in England using a unique pressing process.
Made from the very best Players or Grade 1 English Willow, using lightweight clefts, each bat is handmade from start to finish, with every bat being triple pressed to get the best performance.
Every angle is precisely shaped and smoothed through our unique sanding so the bat has a stunning glow. This is more sculpture than carpentry from the master bat maker at DKP.
Personalise your cricketing experience with customisation options. Choose from various handle type, bat grips and even add your initials to make your VK-18 truly yours.
DKP VK-18 Characteristics
- A full duckbill profiled bat with a dramatic mid to low swell and hybrid toe
- Hand crafted from our top grade English willow
- Sculpted profile with minimal concave sanding for fullest back
- Concentration of wood through bat’s core
- Senior comes in standard short handle but also available in LH/SSB/SB/LB
- Oval or round handle available
Our DKP VK-18 bats are offered in two grades as described below:
Players Grade 1+ will be the best pieces of wood we have in our workshop and would be the same quality that the professional cricketer would utilise. For example, tight grain or predominantly sap wood which is all white wood, no blemishes and exceptional performance as used by international players. This grade is very rare and is limited in availability.
Grade 1 English Willow cricket bats will have 7 or more Grains, which will have a clear white face and no blemishes on the face of the blade or with a small strip of heartwood. Heartwood is from the centre of the tree and is generally preferred by pro players.
